"2012 Appears Through Coniston mist..".

Just spent New Year in one of the loveliest of places... and with our Friends From The North.
Here's Coniston Lake 1st thing this morning... viewed from their deck.....see the lake to the distant left of Hag Wood..dark solemn skeletal trees.... and NB the sodden green fields stretching to the water.
Across the lake, almost opposite, is Brantwood, the wonderful home of John Ruskin.
AND NB too: our Friends' super new boules pitch, ready for rolling balls in Coniston!
AND Happy Healthy New Year to any folk reading this. I haven't visited any blogs for ages... BUT will hopefully make amends shortly...
