"Happy New Year"

New Years Eve.
Tomorrow, we wake to a brand new year; it's glistening with glossy promise, our hopes and fears already visible though its slithery cellophane.
And probably, there's a thousand secrets waiting for us beneath its shiny wrappings...
Happy New Year!

Just popped in to say Happy New Year, Jan. The last few weeks have been busy ones, but I hope I'll have time to go visiting in 2008.

Happy New Year Jan

Here in Melbourne Australia it is 40 degrees Centigrade and we are all, cats included, waiting for a promised cool change.

Happy New Year Jan.

I like your clean slate view, though it seems tempered by a vision of walking on thin ice, maybe it's the "slithery" and "beneath".

I'm off for a damp walk across blank stubble fields.

Happy New Year to you too. Yes indeed, a thousand secrets. I'm hoping for fewer unwelcome surprises in 2008 than 2007. Though on balance, 2007 was a good year for me. Here's wishing for good secrets and surprises for both of us.
