" Farewell To Forty Summertime Friends...."

WHAT/WHO is this, you may ask?!
Well, it's a Rhino..a very colourful one...and it's been gracing ( IS that verb suited to a rhino?...I think strangely enough that it is!) the Town Hall Square these past few weeks....while many of its rhino friends have been sort-after elsewhere throughout our city...
HOWEVER this brilliant herd of rhinos disappears this week...hopefully to thunder over a merely temporary horizon. They've been great . Please return...

Manchester had some similar cows a few years ago which still turn up in unexpected places!

Welcome back to the Blogosphere Jan and what better way to do it, than show a picture of a colourful Rhino, something that doesn't occur down her in the Antipodes.

Look forward to your future posts!

The mind boggles wondering what other animals may appear in other towns...bears in Bolton, hippos in Hull???
I think it's great and my family had LOTS of fun with the rhinos this summer..

There is one from the cow series at the Baseball Hall of Fame down the street. It belongs to our local Lady Bountiful. The tourists took to stamping it with their still-damp hand stamps...

I am planning to be in Aberystwyth in May. Amazing.

This is, as the word verification says, a "bughlith."
